I heard from a friend that she knew of someone who said their phone got hacked into.  Is it possible?  And that theres apps that can help prevent it from happening but I'm not sure what to look for.

iPhone 4S, iOS 5

my notepad was hacked. i kept passwords listed for different accounts and i found someone was automatically emailing himself with the passwords - found out be seeing an email sent from my email account, which i did not send.  the addressees were not listed.  only that I ? had emailed it.  i had to change all my passwords and it took a very long time, to do it.  People are ruthless.

You should not use Notes for keeping passwords in. Use a proper password app like 1Password, which is encrypted.

Someone simply got hold of your iCloud account password. Do you share it with anyone? Was it an easily guessable password?

Yes you the iphone 5 can be remotely hacked. I literally just watched someone navigate through my phone and search through my phone. I was on the FB app looking at a photo when all of a sudden the photo I was looking at started to move in and out. I closed the app thinking something might have went wrong with the app and then the different folder apps started opening and it went to the search screen and started typing in letters and would scroll through the options that came up for those letters. I frantically pressed the home button and then it would flip right back to the search screen. At the same time a Kik message came through and they started to open the message and I then presed the button at the top to shut the phone off...as I tried to swipe it off they were pressing the cancel button, finally I hard reset the phone and it shut off immidiately. I called Apple Support and indeed they had never heard of such and the tech I spoke with did a search on the Apple forum and found seveal forums of it happening to the iphone 5. He spoke with his senior advisor and they suggested I restore my phone through itunes and tried to reassure me that it shoudl stop them from getting in.

Your insistence on posting the same diatriabe several times on this forum without offering a scrap of evidence makes it double bull.

You know very well we cannot confirm what you claim via Apple Support and the case number because they will never give out that information to a stranger. You have made a statement of fact; it is up to you to prove it. Since you cannot:

Hey like I said...call it what you want. I saw it happen. I could give two left nuts whether you believe me or not. My "multiple" post are there for information to those that want it. If you don't believe you then that's on you. I have been an apple buyer for many years like the most of you and I never heard of such until it happened to me. All I want to do is warn people that care to be warned. Your disbelieve isn't going to stop me from letting people know it can happen. Do you and I am going to do me! Move on!

You are hilarious. For the sake of not having 'multiple' post about the same message I will just laugh at you and keep it moving! Not quite sure which if funnier the fact you don't believe me, the fact that you THINK I have to prove anything to you or the fact that you really think I care! Haha simple informational post...

which if funnier the fact you don't believe me, the fact that you THINK I have to prove anything to you

Don't give a flying *** what you think about anything, and anyone with an IQ with 3 digits will not believe you.

or the fact that you really think I care! Haha simple informational post...

Like all trolls, you "care" enough to bother posting your bool sheet.
