I have this same exact issue. I have tried resetting the iHome by removing the backup battery and unplugging it for 15 minutes and that did not help. I had a question for you though, is your iPhone updated to the latest iOS software? Mine is not and I am afraid that that may be the problem. If you find a way to fix this issue please please let me know! Thanks! And good luck!

update about problem: still nothing has changed, still looking for answers too guys!! and @ rkennedy2016 my phone is up to date, i heard that would be a problem but i don't think it is with mine.
