Dec 27, 2012 6:45 AM in response to redpepper70by nzahn1,★HelpfulYour problem might stem from having your Airport create a "private" or "hidden" network or by having turned off the wireless functionality of the AE.
If you think you might have setup a private network, but don't know the name, or turned off the wireless, you can:
- connect your MBP by ethernet cable; then,
- adjust the WiFi settings to enable wireless clients; or
- adjust the Wireless security to disable a hidden or private network.
If all else fails, perform a hard factory reset by holding down the physical reset button in the back of the AE with a paperclip, and redo the setup.
Good Luck.
