Hey guys,

Preliminary info: I have Macbook Air Mid 2012, with Mountain Lion 10.8.2 and Safari 6.0.2

Recently, Safari is starting to freeze all of a sudden.

I can't say it started only after I updated to Safari 6.0.2. Maybe it started after I updated to 10.8.2, not sure though.

I also can't characterize the freezing moments. It can happen during a regular surfing, or watching a video, or anything else.

By freezing, I mean to the rainbow-colored circle spinning around without letting me use Safari properly. When it happens, I force quit Safari and start it again, which is kind of annoying..

Am I the only one who's having this issue? Has anyone came up with a solution?

I am having a similar issue.  I have several tabs open and then suddenly, the tab I am viewing gets "deleted" and a different tab displays.  I get no response from mouse clicks.  Using the keyboard to cycle through the tabs will go through them all except for the one that I was on that was "deleted".  This usually happens when I am in the middle of entering text in a "text-area".  very annoying since I lose eveything that I have typed and I have to force-quit and restart Safari to get it back to functional.

Have you tried resetting Safari from the Safari menu. Also, try a maintenance on your HD using Onyx (free download) or do a permissions repair in Disk Utility if you haven't got Onyx.
