Dec 5, 2012 3:27 PM in response to Joeblesby victor_778,I tried resetting and restoring both my devices, and it took about an hour... for nothing. I still have the problems, and I tried restoring with the iOS 6.0.1 file that was working just fine before.
But just like bunjin8 said, my iPad and my iPhone keep showing the lightning bolt on the battery even when the indicator shows 100%. I just hope they release a fix as soon as possible.

Dec 5, 2012 3:48 PM in response to jss92by GJWiPhone,Maybe the new software is making the processor work to hard which is draining the battery life.
A new ios software should fix any of these sort of issues including the greyed out wifi problem i have.

Dec 5, 2012 7:16 PM in response to GJWiPhoneby linushahs,Agreed, Apple should come out with a fix ASAP. Else there will be no difference between "Apple" and others. Wake up Apple. Act and regain confidence.

Dec 8, 2012 6:49 PM in response to bunjin8by victor_778,thanks for your advice! the battery life on my iPad is back to normal!
Right now its battery is on 55%, and it shows Usage: 5 hours, 38 minutes and Standby: 16 hours, 42 minutes.
It was using LTE most of the time today, and I made two skype calls from it (1 hour each), besides from my usual activity on it.
My iPhone... almost. It's not as bad as last night, but it's definitely not as good as before.
Right now it shows 10%. Usage: 5 hours, 15 minutes. Standby: 1 day, 16 hours.
It's much better now, but it used to give me at least 7 hours and 30 minutes of usage, with standby around the same.

Dec 12, 2012 6:40 AM in response to Joeblesby Doppelgangr,Same situation as @Joebles - iPhone 4 battery drain started early December 2012 a month after iOS 6.0.1.
Apple, please fix in iOS 6.0.2 fast!

Dec 12, 2012 9:32 AM in response to Doppelgangrby skibum02021,same here......phone wrked great for 6 weeks using 6.0.1, then suddenly started draining.
going to give the complete shutdown for 5 min/ complete drain/ complete charge/ complete drain/ complete charge a shot and see what happens......then it's time to start deleting apps.
sound like apple doesn't have an answer right now....but I do know it was working great for awhile
maybe its one of their planned obsolescence tools run amok

Dec 27, 2012 5:17 PM in response to jss92by uomolinux,You know what ? I was discussing with a friend earlier today, telling him that my confidence in Apple products is fading away as fast as my iPhone battery life with this crappy 6.01 update.
We are now thinking choosing an Android device next year to replace these defective devices that continue to be plagued with battery issue, which, for a short time, seems to be chose du passé.
Now I have now to charge my iPhone twice a days, before I couldn't care less about charging my iPhone 4S, this week, it drain completely twice, without notice.
How can Apple bring back this bug in the 6.01 update is a shame.

Dec 27, 2012 6:10 PM in response to timraynaudby uomolinux,The problem is not there, they can complain, the more there is, the more Apple will fix it again I guess.
