Hello all,

Does anyone have an opinion about the Behringer BCF2000 B-Control Fader control surface? (http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/product/Behringer-BCF2000-BControl-Fader?sk u=701763)

I am looking for a good control surface to use with Logic Express. I currently use a MOTU 8pre audio interface.

Can anyone recommend any other control surfaces under $500?

Thanks,

Jay

Yea, unfortunately you were only able to wait a few minutes for a response. Getting for a quick answer from a bunch of musicians on a Saturday night is not an easy thing to do ;-)

    Err,

did you ask for a good control surface or a cheap one? If you are used to the quality of your MOTU, you will certainly be not as excited about a budget product.

    Hi, there.

Just wondering about configuring the BCF2000 for Logic Express?  I've got Logic Express 9.  We just got the BCF2000 from Kijiji and are having some trouble getting it to function completely as a control surface.  Logic Express can see the device, and I'm able to get "play" and "stop" to work on the BCF2000 so it will play a multitrack recording that we made.  But we need to be able to use it to edit the tracks.  I'm not able to get the faders to actually work to make changes to the tracks or control the outputs.

    Do you have any tips?

    Thanks, Da Funky Jrum.

I did go through the first one of these, but my BCF2000 wasn't working the way it was supposed to like the video showed.   Maybe there's a problem with the BCF2000 itself.

Waiting for some feedback from the person we got it from; hopefully they have some hints...
