My lexmark printer will not work with my macbook pro.  I get the error message "backend failed".  The first time it happened I uninstalled and reinstalled my printer and it worked again.  The second time I got the message and tried to uninstall and reinstall it didn't work.  I think it happens when there is a mac software update? The printer works fine with my old pc still so it is not an issue with the printer itself.  Any suggestions?
