You will have to explain what is going on a little more clearly I think. I don't quite understand what is happening other than the apps aren't working for you.
The user that you are trying to FaceTime or Message with must be using an iOS device ... iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch - or a Mac. The user must also be registered and set up to use both apps or you will not be able to reach them.
