Q: itunes not letting me set up an account for my 10yr daughter

itunes saying my daughter does not meet age requirement to set up an itunes account. how do i get around that question

    You cannot circumvent the restriction; it is a consequence of US laws intended to protect the privacy of minor children - not even their names may be collected.

     

    Creating an Apple ID for a child would require compliance with onerous restrictions designed such that that no one can reasonably interpret them.

     

    Set up an account for yourself on her behalf, and create an "allowance" for her to use for purchases.
