Not likely. That dent would be seen as user damage or 'abuse or neglect' which is not covered by the warranty.

Accidental damage is not covered by warranty.

Apple doesn't replace parts like that. What you have is what they will term accidental damage. The 'repair' is that you will pay them $249+ (depending on model, iPad3 and 4 OOW repair starts at $299) and they exchange your dented ipad for a refurbished one. Yours is then sent back to the factory to be refurbished itself (In your case, likely scavenged for good parts while the back is recycled)

You can look for a local authorized repair place and see what they offer, or you can look for non-authorized places. They will be cheaper, however using any unauthorized repair place will void any remainder of your warranty.

IPads aren't modular. you can't just swap out broken parts. They are made as a singular unit, so if any one part breaks the whole thing is considered broken.

Apple replace my iPad 2 Screen Glass Crack. But not the screen the entire unit.

I just got in warranty free because accidental dropped.

Now the replacement unit have a problem bleeding issue now they want to replace it I say after new year.

They will replace it as good as new..
