Can someone tell me how can I use my new factory unlocked IPhone 5 (Model A1428) in Germany, UK and Japan.  According to Apple official website, A1428 is for use in USA and Canada only.  If need to use other international location, then I have to have model A1429.  Please, Please help me.  I do not want to spend a load of money again for a second phone!  Thanks!!

Just get it unlocked by the carrier and use it.

If it's legitimately unlocked, you can use it just fine on any compatible GSM network. It will NOT work on LTE bands outside of North America. If that's not acceptable, return it for a refund if you can and purchase one in Europe or Asia.

Yes, you can use it, but you can not use non-U.S. LTE networks. Only 3G and EDGE will work.
