In the unlikely event that Apple might actually read the comments in this thread, and that it may serve as a de facto petition for the return of this feature, I wanted to add my 2 cents that Coverflow was the first thing I missed after the upgrade to iTunes 11.  Its glaring absence prompted me to search the web and find this thread.

I'm afraid this and the recent iPhone maps snafu are none-too-subtle signs that Apple is floundering without the leadership of its visionary founder.

Even beeing a deejay you cannot remember all songs by name from your collection. I sorted my tracks by BPM and identified them efficiently using the Coverflow above the List / within the Playlists! ... after my naive upgrade, not expecting such radical changes,  I am trying now to downgrade to 10.7 until I have found alternative software. I am afraid Apple will not bring it back since the company is driven by statistics, not by innovations anymore, iTunes 10.7 was the best, even for special users - most probably like I am … simply a pity!

Probably because Apple is now a company full of arrogant computer eggheads that already know what is best for you... don't question... Apple is "Cool" didn't you know??? Just repeat after me... "I am sorry I ever doubted Apple's infinite wisdom and have questioned why they took something away, even though I liked it very much... "

    Feel better???

If that;s all you want, that;s all you want-- shut off your monitor and wing it.

I want coverflow to return, and I want us to keep the pot boiling until they catch on.

    Boil, baby, boil!

I'm back to iTunes 10 and happy with it.

So apple do want loos customers? The go to law because it looks like our stuff. But the also change the standalone features of Apple so it looks like anybody software.

    I do not understand.

I'm staying with my apple hardware and software. No updates till the show innovation and user friendly interfaces.

I erased my iTunes11 with cleanmymac and installed 10 with pacifist. Goes without problems.

Only some Album art is lost. Removed the iTunes.itl

I'm back at good cover flow!

    Noooooo!!

    What gives, Apple?

This new version has PC programmer written all over it.

Not only was Coverflow lush, fun and beautiful, it was incredibly fast and efficient. This postage stamp view is static, slow and frankly not a heck of a lot of fun to use. Bring it back!!!!

Check your iTunes files under iTunes 11-- Coverflow may only be one part of the issue.
