Here is the latest panic report...any ideas what is causing the shutdowns and restarts? This machineis brand new and I upgraded the ram with crucial ram to 16gb if that is of any help.

Crucial generally sells good RAM, perhaps the modules are not correctlly seated in the slots.

Reinstall the modules and push each one firmly into it's slot,

then swing it down into the clips.

Now if you are still having problems with the Crucial RAM, reinstall your stock RAM and contact Crucial Support.

Did or do you have the problem with the stock RAM...?

Hey, I'm experiencing the same thing. Bought the quadcore 2.3 ghz and upgraded to 16gb GSkill ram DDR3 1600mhz. I'm gonna swap back to the original 4gb and see what happens...

I have the same problem. Brand new Mac Mini. Upgraded to 16 gb and I've had a multitude of crashes. I've swapped back the stock memory but the machine is still crashing.

I'm rebuilding the OS for a third time now. And this is only just two days old.

I suspect there is something about these late 2012 Mac Minis and 10.8.1. I've never had that much trouble with Macs ever.

That Cycling74 Soundflower driver stops at OS X 10.5. support. This driver is far and away incompatible with your new mini with Mountain Lion. This is the source of your problems and it will need to be removed from your system. The link provided also has a short video on how to uninstall Soundflower and its system files via an AppleScript.

It is wise to check out the application support requirements and also visit this site for OS X application compatibility before installing software. If a developer does not state that their software is compatible with the current release of OS X, then it is a leap of faith that it is compatible.
