Hi, I bought Apple TV in September to start renting movies in iTunes. Even upgraded my internet to FiberOp and added more Apple devices to my home network (2 iPod touch units, an iPhone and an iPad). Everything worked until the 20th of December! The internet connection is fine because You Tube, Vimeo and Netflix all work fine. I can't share my iTunes Library anymore. Home Sharing is turned on but doesn't work. Air Play no longer works on any of these devices!

I've tried restarting everything. I've reset Apple TV to factory defaults after connecting directly to my PC and iTunes. I've tried disabling McAffee. Nothing works! This is frustrating. Can anyone offer some helpful advice to assist with resolution? Thanks.

    Wilson,

Try a reboot of your router  if you have not done so, it can sometime be that.

Glad it worked Wilson.  If it happens again reboot the lot as a first go, most people don't include the router in reboots!

I have this very same problem but I have tried rebooting my router and it doesn't work. I moved the router to a different location in the house. I've done a hard-reset of the router itself. I've reset the modem. I've called Time Warner. I used Airport Utility to turn off the WPA/WPA2 security. I've hardwired my Apple TV into the router with an ethernet cable... nothing works!
