When you look at your iCloud account page with Safari, do you see any of your docs in the iWork folder? If so, which ones, the ones created in iOS, OS X, or both?

The online iCloud is synched with my iOS devices. It's the Mac workstation that seems to be left out of the iCloud party. Files created on the Mac, stay on the Mac. Like Vegas.

Indeed, I have explicitly enabled Documents & Data in the iCloud pane on my Mac. Other services, like Notes and Calendar, are syncing as expected.
When I ask Pages to save a document to iCloud there is no error dialog box, and no error messages are generated in the system logs that I can see.

I have heard of sync problems between iCloud and Mac being solved by toggling the checkbox in System Preferences off and on. It's something you could play with.

Tried and re-tried. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Pages. I've run permissions fixes on the system drive. How about this for a blast from the past -- I even zapped the PRAM!
I think I'm going to open a new thread with a more specific headlining question, now that I've narrowed down the area of non-function.

Update Pages v4.2 to v4.3. The latter improved interoperability with IOS Pages 1.7.1. Log out of iCloud on OS X and IOS before you update Pages v4.3, then Sign back in on both devices. The following are my settings that produce desired iCloud functionality.
Signed on with same Apple ID as on OS X?
Documents & Data is on.
Use iCloud is on
Ask to Open Copies is off
Restore is off
Mountain Lion 10.8.2+
Remain signed in.
Documents & Data is selected
Is iCloud selectable on open or save dialogs?

Right Honourable Winston Churchill,
I'm afraid your recommended settings list reflects my situation exactly. I'd already upgraded to Pages 4.3, but otherwise I've tried the sign-out sign-in process as you suggest.
Pages v4.3 on the Mac: Yes, iCloud is selectable as a save or open location. It corresponds to ~/Library/Mobile Documents/com~appe~Pages , but the contents of that directory are not seen by iCloud.

There is a forum concerning iCloud. Maybe you'll get better help there. https://discussions.apple.com/community/icloud

Thank you, fruhulda, I do indeed have a thread started in that topic area as well. Unfortunately, I am still making no headway.
My Mac syncs with iCloud in every way except for Pages documents and I've yet to find a hint as to why, or even a decent troubleshooting list beyond turn everything off and on again (which I've done, in various combinations and sequences).
Is there anyone out there for whom this is actually working? I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks for your list. I've checked it against my own settings and remain at a loss.
