Q: duo RAM compatibility

I tried to up the 512MB memory in the wifes 20" duo with an "ACP" module.

The computer just gave me a blank screen with the new memory installed either alone or with the original 512. I work with hardware all day so I'm sure the basics are covered as to module seating, orientation, etc.

The memory is described as: 1GB 667MHz DDR2 PC2-5300 (200 pin SODIMM)

The memory used in the duo is industry "standard" stuff right?

I suppose the memory could be bad but I've never had one be bad out of the box before....

Any ideas?

Thanks
