Is there any way to use Microsoft Office for PC on a Macbook Pro 13"?

I have a Professional Microsoft Office for PC and I want to use it my Macbook preferably without having to install Windows, or any other $$ software.

 

Eventually I'll buy Windows for Mac, just not right now.

 

 

I will buy the Macbook Pro 13" core i7, and I'm still undecided between 128GB ssd or 750GB hdd (i will upgrade on autumn to 250GB ssd in any case).

    You can't use your version of MS Office on Mac, because it's only a PC version. But you can buy a Mac version. Installing Windows on Mac is... well, why to have Mac then? Mac OS X gives you more possibilities.

     

    So my opinion is, if you want to buy a MacBook Pro:

    It's great - I use it myself. Installing Windows on it is useless. You will kill all the great features. Buy a version of MS Office for Mac and use it.

     

    And if it's about the discs... As a normal user you won't notice a difference. HDD offers you more space so I would take it.

    If you want to run MS Office (Win) on a Mac you would need to install a Virtual Machine, such as Parallels Desktop, and also a version of Windows.  This is an expensive solution.

     

    Much better/cheaper to get a copy of MS Office for Mac.
