probably without doing that you can just delete the apps, photos you dont even need anymore.

plus when you restore it deletes everything that is on there even contacts. basically putting the iphone as brand new out of the box.

so just delete stuff you dont even use.

sorry. but as i said before restoring deletes all data, everything,

if you restore from a back up then all that data will just be back. if you want your photos you can just import them on a computer after they are imported create a folder.

do you have alot of contacts.

YOu should be syncing your contacts with itunes using exchange/windows or google...

when your phone is sync with itunes click on your phone and then go to information I thinkg then you'll see contacts and there are three programs to sync contacts with.

yea just like razmee209 has said. but i think i found something. if you have an icloud turn on contacts and the stuff you need and turn off the things you dont want. then backup in the icloud settings.and make sure you backup the contacts. and when you restore the iphone you can restore the bacup from icloud which is the conatacts and the other stuff. when thats done i guess the contacts will be there.

i am not telling you to do this. but just delete the stuff you dont even need anymore. without even restoring.

    its your choice.
