Doesn't magnetism reduce with distance? Magnets are in every motor.
How about a steel or copper enclosure? Does steel attenuate the magnetism???
You sure the magnets are in the iPad not the cover?
I assume the magnets are glued on the inside edges of the ipad cover. You could have the magnets removed. See a repair shop. I'd assume it would void your warranty.
