Dec 30, 2012 9:50 PM in response to OutsideShooterby JustSomeGuy,There is a very interesting project on Sourceforge going on now to convert some of these very old formats if you want to have a go at this yourself:

If you would rather have a commercial service help, there is RetroFloppy:

Dec 31, 2012 6:48 PM in response to OutsideShooterby Texas Mac Man,Where are you located. There may be a Apple Mac User Group near you. You can contact and a member can probably help you with the file conversion.

Another possibility. My first Mac was a 512Ke and later I also had a PM6500. In the PM6500 era I had a utility program called MacLink Plus. It would convert all types of old formats to newer formats. Do you have MacLink Plus, or try to find a copy.
Cheers, Tom

TMM has the right idea. If you are anywhere near Washington State, we have several sources for older macs and user groups. We still use 1981 -- 1991 computers and could help you out.

Jan 6, 2013 6:00 PM in response to Appaloosa mac manby OutsideShooter,Thanks Appaloosa Mac man, I've linked to Texas mac man's link and found one in my home town. I'll email the closest one first and perhaps set up a meetup. Many thanks. Interesting that there are still users out there using the original Macs.
