I am burning cd's to my iMac and have the option to click on 'lossless'.

Should I do that - is that the best option for burnings cd's and getting clearest sound reproduction...?

Thank you.

First, do you mean that you are importing music from CD's to iTunes.

If so Apple Lossless is a good solution for the best quality of sound and best use of hard drive space. The other options would be either WAV or AIFF, which are much larger files vs Apple Lossless.

I guess it depends on what version of iTunes you're using, but generally the songs would import into your Library. In the Library, look for the songs in either Artist or Album view.
