Thanks Philip. That helps a lot. Are you using two DVI monitors? If so, what adapters are you using?

I'd agree that you will never see a load of people saying its fixed, all you can go by is a lack of people going its broke, and I'd not base anything on two people, it could be pretty much anything causing their problem.

For what its worth, I was seeing this problem on my dual Dell DV setup every couple of days, but since the 11th Dec when I applied the patch, not a single reocurrence.

If you  search heard enough for problems then you'll probably find a few in any device like this, but apart from that one issue I've had no problems at all with the mac mini and I have all sorts of stuff hanging off mine.

They have a good return policy, just go get one and you'll be fine.

The firmware fix resolved it on my machine too.  Searching other support forums like MacRumors, you will see that it has resolved it for everyone posting there.  That thread was growing a page or two a day until the firmware fix was released.  Now it's pretty much dead.

Yes both monitors have DVI inputs, I am using the Aple HDMI-to-DVI that came with the MacMini and an Apple MDP-to-DVI.

    Phil
