Sorry to hear about your incident, but there's not much any of us can do on this one. We are not Apple. We are a bunch of users like you who help each other with technical problems and questions.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
First, see if your iMac works properly after taking it. If it works properly, you can use it without any problem.
If I get it home and something doesn't work right I'll have to buy a new one anyway!
All repaired devices have a 90-day warranty after the repair, so any problem that you have after the repair will be fixed for free. If your iMac doesn't work after taking it, they should give you a new one
