I have looked on line the Apple TV in in the UK is £99 in the us it's $99 which is around £60, why such a big difference in costs for effectively the same piece of kit?
Partially because the UK store includes all applicable taxes, the US store will add applicable taxes at checkout.
Welcome to the Apple Community.
It's not cheaper once you've added your air fare. Prices are what they are, pay it or do without are your only options I'm afraid.
Plus the UK spells correctly.
Air fare lol amazon.com $94.99 incl free international shipping. Perhaps Apple should wake up to savvy worldwide shoppers.
You might find you get a bill for import duty, I'm not sure what category an Apple TV fits into.
Import vat @ 20% only still cheaper than apple uk by £20
Appletv fit into the cat that you Can only import 10€ without paying told
