For Christmas I got this brand new Macbook Pro with Mountain Lion pre-installed (10.8.2). Today I partitioned my hard drive and successfully installed Windows 7. The only problem is that now I need the drivers. I cannot connect to the internet on Windows and etc.

I went back to the Bootcamp Assistant to download the Windows Support Software to a disk. I have tried multiple times, but none of them have been sucessfull. It starts downloading and gets as far as asking me to click burn on the disk. I click burn and one second later it tells me it is finishing up, spits the disk out, and says the Superdrive has failed. It just will not burn onto a disk. I have tried different brands of blank CD's and it is the same result every time. I have played DVD's and CD's and they work fine. I also successfully copied unrelated files onto a blank disk. I do not know if this has to do with the Windows Support Software or what. Such a bad time to have lost my external hard drive!

Any help is appreciated!
