I have created a few books using iPhoto (stored under Keepsakes).  I have an external hard drive that backs up my files (using time-machine), but I would like to separately save electronic copies of these books.  Is that easy to do?  Thanks much.

The only way is to save a PDF -

Before ordering your book preview it using this method - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1040 - and save the resulting PDF for reference - the delivered book will match it.

or duplicate the iPhoto library and remove everything except the keepsake you want and ave tha tiPhoto library - books are not things, they are database entries

Just drag the iPhoto library to the exteal drive intact as a single entity

Depress the option key and launch iPhoto and select that library and test it then option launch to set the default library back to your main library
