I have solved the problem. Basically i have to reset my phone, erasing all content and settings. This solved the issue..

Hi I have installed viber on both my ipad and iphone 4. it used to work but 2.3.0 allows me to register then crashes everytime i open it after approx 3 seconds. i have tried
deleting and reinstalling
resetting the device
it seems to be an error with this version and is not linited to one device.
I am not wiling to reset all of my devices to factory settings to resolve it as i would loose too much data.
are you aware of this issue?
do you have any ideas?

Hi JAke, this is exactly what happend to me. I had to reset my phone to factory setting to resolve this issue. Maybe you can back up your data first in itunes before you do a factory reset so you can upload it again after?
I am not sure though if a backup with retain all your data in your phone. Need to ask an apple expert for that..

Hi Viber Team,
The app shuts itself down automatically, all calls last for 40 Secs precise. This problem started very recently, hv reinstalled the App several times, even tried my factory settings but to no use.
