So, i'm reading a lot of questions about how the MBP Retina is over-heating or not working, but I am loving mine! Perfectly fast and fluent. Anybody experiencing great performance or bad performance?

Was perfect for the 2 weeks i had it. However i did notice a bit more fluid UI and web site scrolling when the discrete graphic was forced ON. Still i feeled theHD4000 was strong enough to push the pixel + scaling effect, but wasn't absolutly perfect.

Latest webkit also included much needed fix for better Safari scrolling. You can download safely the Overnight app. Just type webkit in google search.

well for me, my rmp amazed me and somehow worries me... i was amazed by how fast boot time is.. 8secs. for me copying from usb 3 external is also good, superb screen, excellent speakers, etc... the only cons is that i get fast battery drain, sometimes hangs mildly, and that bothers me because im only using iMOVIE. im not even using final cut and it lags a bit? well so far thats my observation... after all im new to apple and it's just 3 weeks since  i bought my rMbp..

Best decision I made to upgrade. Then again I went whole hog and maxed everything out and generally force the dedicated graphics card to do the graphics heavy work.

Increased battery usage is to be expected with the Retinas - they are pushing a lot more pixels.

Today was the last day I could return mine for full credit and I ended up keeping it.

It is amazing, although I had some eye soreness issues for the first couple months and I have no idea why that went away.  I just read the book Guerrilla Factory on my MBP Retina which I would of never done on any other lap top.

I think macbook pro with retina display it has a good performance display is so resolution but it has many problem such as ghost image, display yellow tint, noise fan and over heat. Now i use macbook pro retina too but i got a ghost image problem and i waiting for claim for my new display. But a authorize service for apple not approve my claim offer. And he told me i have to pay about 1000$ for a new one display. I think if u want to macbook pro with retina u should worry about those problem and be careful.
