Yes only email option there
Sign out of imessages and sign back in.
I have the same problem and signing out and back in doesnt help, turning Imessage off and back on doesnt work either. Any other options?
Sign out, then reset your phone, hold the home and off button down until the apple symbol comes up. Then sign back in.
I'm wondering if their Apple IDs/Device registration process needs a valid iPhone number? It's odd it's greyed out.
Both of my phones have it grayed out , except under start a new conversation from, that i can change.
iMessages to my phone number used to appear on my iPad but they no longer appear. I've tried all of the solutions offered without success. Could it be be ause I have the original iPad - the last update didn't apply to the IPad 1
