Is updating to 6.1.2 worth it?

My first post!!  New to the apple community and my first apple product and loving it my iphone 5. ;)



Anyways so im still on 6.0  and i know theres a software update out, but as i read some forums online some people are upset about how much the update messes up a few things on Their phone Including battery life.

    There is no 6.1.2. I assume you mean 6.0.2.


    If you're not having problems right now, you may just want to wait. I strongly suspect the issues with battery life are the same type of issues that seem to crop up with any update, mostly revolving around corrupt data, etc.


    6.0.2. is a very minor fix intended to address a very specific problem. If you're not experiencing the problem, then I would just hold off.


    That said, I updated mine (was no having problems previously) and I've had no issues since the update.

    The latest is 6.0.2 and specifically only fixes a WiFi issue on certain devices.


    Every single update that Apple has ever released gets a vocal minority complaining about something or other, whereas the vast majority of people update and have no issues.
