Anyone know why this podcast was rejected from itunes?

Seems silly that when itunes rejects it, they dont give you a reason.

I agree that it would be helpful if they did. There appears to be no technical reason why it should be rejected (there are minor issues but nothing which would stop it working in iTunes).

On a quick listen it seems most likely that you are using tracks from commercial recordings. Unless you have specific written permission from the copyright owners to use these recordings this constitutes a breach of copyright and would be sufficient to get you rejected from the Store.

Since a lot of people do illicit 'mixes' it would be a logical assumption. I can only suggest that you try emailing them at podcasts 'at' and explain the situation, though I don't know whether you've got any chance of a helpful response.

Make sure to say the music is "podsafe"  actually anytime someone submits a podcast to iTunes which has podsafe music (music they have the rights to use in a podcast) - they should put that in the description - it really helps speed up the approval process.
