Jan 4, 2013 6:02 AM in response to lllaassby R.E.BELL,There was some interesting info in those articles, but no straight fixes for my issue. The wierd thing is, like I said before, outlook calendar is syncing just fine with ical. I even did a test where I double checked all my settings in itunes, icloud and on my ipod, then created an event in outlook calendar and saved it. After that, I saw that it also showed up in ical, but somehow didn't push it to my ipod?

For my interest: what os are you on on your computer? Not Mountain Lion I suppose.

My OSX is 10.7.5 Lion. I just gave up and decided to go back to Mac mail, iCal and contacts. I'm guessing the issue has something to do with the way iCal handles sync data from Outlook? Or perhaps the other way around? I did 2-seperate tests where I created a calendar event in Outlook and iCal. On the Outlook test, it synced to iCal, but wouldn't get pushed to my iPod touch calendar? (running iOS 6.0.1)
On the iCal test, it pushed the new event to my iPod within seconds! Also, when I created a calendar event directly on my iPod, that too would sync back to iCal within seconds as well. But not back to the Outlook calendar. It still amazes me that even today MS and Apple still have issues like this? I don't mind using Mac's programs, I just don't like how they have them all as 3-seperate running programs.
I prefer Outlook's all-in-one interface. I think Apple's software engineers need to do a complete makeover!

Jan 7, 2013 12:10 AM in response to R.E.BELLby Sambal-oelek,May be you're wright. It's the all-in-one interface that prevents me from swapping. Besides I've just upgraded to office 2011.
I'll continue to investigate.
