How do I add a SPAM filter on my phone email. It is out of control? I do not receive it, in the same accounts on my labtop.

Help. I do not have time to delete hundreds of emails that are just junk..

I would appreciate any assistance.

iPhone 4, iOS 6.0.1

There is no Spam filter that you can add on the iphone.

    You don't.

You filter at the server level.

Log into your e-mail server and set it up there, if your e-mail server has that ability

I don't know how Apple get away with something that a WIn 95 computer can manage as easy as a 1 click operation. ****, if I say something is spam, juts dump it in a different mailbox!! Bragging about lens flare in Infinity Blade III is just stupid when someone have to waste a lot of time with such a moronic task as deleting emails. Apple should import my rules from my desktop mail app, as it imports my bookmark from Safari. Remember, it should "just works"!!

Server side spam filters are orders of magnitude more effect than client side filters. I get spam on my iPhone maybe 4x a month. I use my email provider's filters. I rarely have to touch it. I use Gmail, by the way.

    Best of luck.

    SERVER LEVEL??!?!?!?

Ok, so every time I receive an email that I don´t want I'll log in to my server and setup there...

By this logic, every time I want to write something, I'll fire up Microsoft Word

If I'll edit a photo... Photoshop

    Video? Final Cut

I´ll use my iPhone as a hub for more efficient solutions? NO, it's that simple, a button that says SPAM, 1 click and it's gone... forever - Apple style!!!

Sounds like you'll suggest me to look for a .dll to install a printer when I'm busy acessing my server to say that I don´t want an email in my phone, but my desktop, with the seme server,  handles the same message to the garbage very fine.

Let the geniuses at Cupertino manage the server link, c'mon it's 2013, should I acess my server as I commute to work for that? I just want to read my email, if I wanted the hassle to do that chore I'll buy a $99 Samsung

Be snarky if it makes you feel better. I'm going to repeat what I said before that apparently you skimmed over: I see spam on my iPhone maybe 4x a month. A decent email provider should be taking care of this for you already. But, as you don't seem interested in what is possible right now, best submit your feedback about what you'd like to see directly to Apple:

    Best of luck.

    Not snarky at all.

Just because you pointe a sloution, this does NOT make it THE solution.

Thank you for this proceidure, that, in YOUR case, mends the problem. As you could see, there are more than one aspect to this problem and that is the whole purpose of this forum.

My position is a rant, but it poits to a solution, not just my vitriolic humor. Your opinion was not skimmed over, I used it in my post a lot, I just disagree and that's the point.

My solution is possible right now, a spam button was possible a decade ago in machines with half the processor power of an iPhone, that's just bad service.

BTW the forum is a way of feedback, they probably take as much (or more) feedback from here becaus we are discussing things intead of whining. Just to prove it I'll write some swear words to flag this ( don't worry they will put aterisks) ant to call their attention, I'll write some competitor's name so it will be filtered further probably for human reading. Thanks for the response!

Nokia is better than this piece of **** and Samsung with android will take the whole market, Motorola will suck as ever and Palm is stinky as roadkill from the 90's!! This Newton in disguise will sink so bad that we will need a King Arthur-Poseidon mix to take it to the Mariana's rock bottom!!
