I've got an intermittent issue with iPhoto (latest version) that I'm hoping someone's seen before.

I can launch iPhoto, and it runs fine. If I leave it running, though, it will crash, usually within 1-3 hours. This happens even though I'm away from my Mac, so I don't think it's anything I'm doing that's causing the problem.

I've got around 5,000 photos, and have tried repairing my Mac's permissions, repairing iPhoto permissions, and repairing the iPhoto database. (I haven't done a complete rebuild of the iPhoto database as I don't want to lose all my albums, slideshows, etc.).

I'm wondering if this issue has anything to do with either Time Machine or Photostream, as those are the only two things that aren't running all the time?

that looks like an OS issue but since moving to a totally new computer did not resolve it then that would not be it

Maybe someone else will see the problem - I do not
