When I go to change my Mainstage 2.2 recording directory, it defaults back to Home/Music/Mainstage/ even though I choose a different location.

Any thoughts on how to keep this from happening?

Thanks

    Hi Thorste,

I've been having the same problem.  This is a bit of a dirty fix, but it works

Right click on the MainStage.app and show package contents,

    Navigate to Contents/Resources

Open BasePreferences.plist in a plain text editor (I'm using TextWrangler)

    Search for <string>~/Music/MainStage</string>

This witll give you 4 results for the different defualt locations for the various files type.

Change the last one for the audio file locations.  For example I changed mine to:

    <key>WsCurrentOpenPanelPathV2_audio</key>

              <string>~/Music/MainStage/Record</string>

    Hope that helped :-)

    Laucnh Terminal.app and enter

    defaults write com.apple.mainstage WsCurrentOpenPanelPathV2_audio -string "~/Music/MainStage/Record"

No need to modify the application.
