    Hello

    Are you guys sending feedbacks to Apple? I've sent tons of feedbacks, but I really doubdt that is someone on the other end of the "line".

    I've been using Mac/Apple stuff for 20 years (My first Mac was a Classic - in Brazil, in a time where ther's absolutely nothing/nowone to ask for help) and never felt so hopeless.

    My faith is going down and down because I've believed that apple would restore the coverflow very soon, but it doesn't seem to be the case.

    SHAME ON YOU APPLE!!

    Lets send zillions od feedbacks to apple!!

    Amazing

    I was in disbelief that cover flow could actually be gone until i found this thread

    Apple needs to stop taking away features that consumers loves. It seems the focus of the company has changed from consumers and quailty products to profit margins.

    I'm Very dissapointed its more than a crack in the look of apple for me at this point, Apple is too big for its and the consumers good. Start making good choices again and I'll be back on board in an instant.

    Yes, HWStone, cover flow is only part of the issue. But it's a big part.

    I use iTunes on a 32" television, Coverflow was amazing. I don't know why Apple would have stripped it out; But I do see that Apple did like it enough to have it featured on the iTunes Store.

    This and other irritations* with this recent upgrade of iTunes, has me wondering what is happening over at Apple.

    There was one thing I thought PC iTunes Coverflow lacked. On the iPod / iPhone, when you clicked the picture you can skip to songs within that album**. I would liked to have seen that on the PC iTunes.

    *(eg 4.3 days of music versus 4:07:and some)

    **(so far as my iPhone is updated, [I will not update my laptop])

    Why has nobody warned me before I upgraded to the new version?

    Probably because Apple is now a company full of arrogant computer eggheads that already know what is best for you... don't question... Apple is "Cool" didn't you know??? Just repeat after me... "I am sorry I ever doubted Apple's infinite wisdom and have questioned why they took something away, even though I liked it very much... "

    Feel better???

    Yes.... no

    I like itunes 11 new features and how light it is compared to v10. Apple please bring back cover flow. keep the "Expanded View" it's useful just add cover flow back. =)

    Exactly!!! Not everyone uses iTunes only on their iPod or iPhone. Some of us use it full screen on a large screen, and coverflow was the coolest thing ever. I cannot believe this was taken away. I'm going to try to figure out how to downgrade to 10.7.

    1. Download/install AppZapper and use it to uninstall iTunes 11;
    2. Rename "iTunes Library.itl" to some other name;
    3. Copy newst ITL file from the "Previous iTunes Libraries" folder into your main iTunes folder and rename it to "iTunes Library.itl";
    4. Download iTunes 10.7: http://appldnld.apple.com/iTunes10/041-7195.20120912.d3uzQ/iTunes10.7.dmg
    5. Download/install shareware app called Pacifist;
    6. Open Pacifist and, separately, mount iTunes DMG file -- drag iTunes PKG file into Pacifist and install iTunes via the Pacifist application -- be sure to answer yes to replacing everything Pacifist asks about;
    7. Enjoy iTunes 10.7

    Note: Make sure you install iTunes with an account that has administrator privileges and when Pacificist prompts you to run its installation routine with admin privs, do so. Also, if/as/when Pacificist lets you click to apply to all files, say yes. It saves countless clicking. There is not going to be a single time that you don't want to replace a particular file.

    4-7 works without the hassle.

    Indeed, but unless one replaces iTunes 11's ITL file, the application will complain that the version of the library cannot be opened. It must be replaced or created from scratch for a downgrade.

    Just found where to view larger cover art. Click on the small, tiny, little bitty cover art in the player control area and you get the larger QuickTime looking window.It is not Cover Flow but if feels more like an album at least.

    Ben posted how to show larger art earlier, by double clicking on the cover art. This works really well in the MiniPlayer mode.

    But wait, there's more!

    After bringing up the larger art, right click and select "Fit to Screen", this will make the cover art fullscreen, and it should bring up mini player controls. You can then use these as your playing controls, and just minimize everything in the background.

    No, it's not as good as coverflow, but if you create playlists, you can still show nice covers on your TV (or whatever reason you liked coverflow), and still control the music.

    It also helps to bring up a black background, you can do that on a PC by opening up a black image with Windows Photo Viewer and hit F11 to make it full screen, then ALT-TAB over to the iTunes miniPlayer. I'm sure there's a similar way to do it with a Mac.

    Ooooh, what a great compromise. I feel so much better. Thanks Apple nerd!

    I feel some clutching at straws and some lowly PR going on here. Good effort, but go home and have a beer. You're not kidding anyone.
