Yeah - once I shared something I bought with her it basically hosed her iTunes match. I had to turn everything off (de-authorized her computer, home share and iTunes Match) before I could sync her iPad or add any more music to her iPad.
Brutal user experience and a huge waste of time.
I appreciate your help.

A useful discussion here. I am hanging on by my fingertips trying to keep up as I have a similar issue. Teenage daughter has her own Macbook and Iphone but wants to access my Itunes library on her Iphone (as I have such amazing taste - and it's free, for her at least)
I've shown her how to access my library via Sharing in her Itunes library (where my named library is accessible) but I assume this only works while her Macbook is on our home network i.e when she goes to Uni this won't be available.
And, more relevant to the issue in hand, I can't transfer (eg drag and drop) my shared library tracks into her Itunes library. One article I read referred to an Import button in Itunes but I could find no such thing.
I have Icloud and so does she (her own account) but I can't see how this would help.
Do I just set her Iphone up with my apple password and ID so she can access my Itunes? Is there a way she can access her music and mine without having to switch ID's?
Any help would be great
