I have a Macbook Pro 13" (RS313 model) with Intel 3000 graphics. Does it support 2560x1440px resolution?

I bought a Dell U2713HM monitor wich suports this resolution, but I can't get it with my laptop. I was using a miniDP to DVI adpter, and now I know that I cant get the highest resolution with it. So, I've found some information that I need to use a Dual-Link DVI adapter, but a guy from AppStore told me that it wouldn't help me (He said it worked only with Apple monitors). Is it true?

And the second question. U2713HM has a DIsplay port. Can I use miniDisplayport to Displayport cable to get the 2560x1440px resolution?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Late 2011), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
