Q: How make this works with 10.8.2

Hi.

There is no such file /Library/Preferences/com.apple.AppleShareClient.plist on 10.8.2

I tried to create it didn't help.

also I found /System/Library/Frameworks/AppleShareClientCore.framework/Versions/A/Resources/ AppleShareClient.plist

but changes in this file didn't help too, still can not connect to my office afp server.

any help would be awesome!

Mac mini, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

You are going to have to approach this differently and provide more information.

    For example:

    • you had a working 10.6.x server system and upgraded and AFP stopped working
    • you installed a 10.8.2 server from scratch but you can't get file sharing working
    • etc.

I have a few macs in my office, some of them running OS X 10.7.5 and works pretty well after HT4700.

Can not say the sane about the 10.8.2...
