Q: pages installed but not showing up in icloud

I am running OSX 10.7.5 (Lion) on my Intel iMac. I have iWork 09 installed on this system, but when I go to icloud.com, and click on iWork, none of my documents show up. (I do have them selected to sync in the settings for iCloud on my computer.) In fact, for all 3 apps (Pages, Keynote, and Numbers), I get a page inviting me to get the application or learn more.  What gives?  Not sure why my docs aren't in the cloud (everything else I've asked to sync is).  Any ideas?

    Hi

When you go to Finder >Application >Numbers do you see an iCloud icon and an "On My Mac" file option?

Maybe they are still "On My Mac"??

The thing Dartiesdad describes is not available on 10.7.5.  It's only available in Mt Lion.

The way it's supposed to work, on your mac, is to go to icloud.com in your web browser, click on the iworks icon, then pages, then the gear in the corner.  Then select the option to upload a document.

Make sure you have documents and data checked off in sys pref >> icloud.

Also make sure your Pages is up to date.  You need to be running ver 4.3.

I am running pages 4.3, and I do have documents/data checked in my sys pref. There is no gear in the corner when I go to icloud.com, click iworks, then pages. I get a screen with a large graphic that invites me to get pages.

    Now you see my confusion?

It mentions needing ios setup before you can use iCloud.com for Pages document.  I don't have iWorks on my ios device, but I do have documents and data enabled in the iCloud settings...maybe that's the key.

Same here. I have documents and data enabled on my iPhone in the iCloud settings there as well. But haven't purchased the iWorks for ios. No problems viewing iWorks documents on my phone, though. I'm befuddled.
