If you need to open, read and print PDFs, every Mac comes with Preview. It's a very nice app, and you can also assemble and reorganize PDFs plus do basic annotations & markup with it (which you can't do in Adobe Reader). Preview is also faster & scrolling is smoother. I do prefer it to the Adobe Reader.

Adobe Reader for the Mac on some versions has better support for manual form filling on the PDF file itself than Preview. Preview some versions only is able to print at up to 72 dpi on PDFs, where Acrobat Reader supports higher resolution images.

Wondershare PDF Editor Pro is looking good. It has the ability to not only edit the PDFs (change text directly, not markup, view pdf) but also OCR scanned in pages. This is all good and I like it.
