Q: Assistance needed with wireless printing

I have updated my 2009 model macbook pro from 10.5.8 through the various stages to 10.8.2. I have an hp laserjet p1102w that won't connect to my wireless network. So i can't print wirelessly. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure why the printer won't connect to your wireless network, but I don't see how it is related to your upgrading your MacBook Pro to Mountain Lion.

Can you connect the printer by USB cable to a desktop computer on the network and then share it so that your MacBook Pro can connect to it wirelessly?

Thanks for the word, James. I returned the printer and am just going to stay with my USB cable. Wireless printing seemed like a great idea, but I couldn't make the printer find the network, so POW, no more new printer. Hope all is well, and thanks again. PCG
