I guess they are all different. I went a long time without replacing batteries in a Magic trackpad or Magic Mouse, but the keyboard that came with the same computer as the mouse ate batteries faster. To boot, I never saw "80%" as in your screenie. My batteries reported 100 percent, then dropped to 50%, then died.
The KB that came with our latest iMac that arrived on December 5 2012 does show a regular decline instead of the "stepped" one of the other board, but is already down to 68 percent in just over a month.
Can you help us out? The forum software Apple bought has caused a lot of OS confusion by lumping computer OS versions with iDevice OS versions in the same menu. As a result, your equipment profile says "iOS6" which cannot run on a Mac computer, only iDevices. Please do "About this Mac" from your Apple menu and edit your profile to reflect the Mac OS version for your computer. That will save time for getting help with future questions where your OS version makes a difference.iMac 27-in; Mid 2010 2.93G i7 Quad, Mac OS X (10.6.8), 12GB RAM; ATI5750 1G VRAM
