Jan 8, 2013 10:42 AM in response to Mitch 751by ITGeek123,Hi Mitch, I got my iPod on. But it doesn't seem to be charging. It's like its only using the power to stay alive while its plugged in. Like an iPad when you plug it in a laptop and it says not charging. None of my computers recognize it. It's useless..... Any suggestions?

Aug 23, 2016 6:28 AM in response to ITGeek123by musicandthensome,I had exactly the same problem unless I plugged my iPod Classic straight into the USB on my Mac. I solved it by searching the house and finding my original Apple charger and lead that came with my iPod when I bought it and it works perfectly. I can only assume that later USB leads and/or chargers are wired to the old Apple style iPod connecter in a slightly different way.
