for xmas this year, my family bought me a new ipod 5. its awesome. i live in oklahoma, so before my folks sent me the ipod, they had my brother add several important albums that i dont have. it was great and working just fine, but yesterday i added music to the silly thing, and it deletes everything that was on it before adding my music. i have already set up everything to be manual, so ***?? dang it. i was really happy to finally have some of these albums and my mac and itunes decided to be all not worky n such.
what can i do to get the music back? (i really dont want to run the risk of sending the ipod all the way back to San Fran CA from Norman OK so he can reload the music)
we're talking about 2000 songs that i could not find so this is absolutely devastating.
my computer: imac (bought in oct.2009) with OS X 10.6.8
itunes: 11.0.1 (12)
ipod: 5th gen 64GB(10A523) can send serial # upon request. with iOS 6.0.1
i also have two apple IDs as my family wanted to surprise me so they created a whole new email for the ipod. so maybe i should log into the apple ID that the ipod is registered to?
