Glad it worked.
Detlef, was Mark working with JES Deinterlacer correctly or did he miss something? I've played around with it a few times, but never found it superior to the results I get with Compressor. I may have also missed something.

I guess, it was just too many steps simultaneously for JES. I use it mainly for transcoding NTSC<>PAL, interlaced to interlaced, and there I find it better than Compressor except for rapid movement where Compressor faires somewhat better (I think both are bad).
What baffles me a bit is that his first attempt to make a DVD didn't work. 23.98 should be acceptable.
Also, he didn't tell us what his original resolution was - this could make a difference.
