Q: Cannot import Panasonic FZ38 RAW images (iPhoto 11)

I recently purchased a Macbook Air 13'' (2012 model, with Mountain Lion and iLife 11), and have been importing my photos to iPhoto whithout problems until I tried to add some images shot in RAW format, which got rejected because their format was not recognized.

I've checked that my camera (Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ38) is in the 'Supported digital camera RAW formats' list (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5371), so I don't know to do next.

Could somebody give me a clue about what to check, please?.

According to the Info in that file it's created by a Lumix DMC FZ 28, not the 38

Have you run Software Update to make sure you have the latest versions of everything?

Are shooting RAW or a smaller RAW (some cameras offer multiple RAW settings - if yours does you should be using the largest - standard_ - version)

What version of iphoto do you have - 9.4.2 is the current version

There's just one setting for RAW (at 10M pixels resolution), and my iPhoto version is 9.4.2. I've uploaded a sample RAW photo to Dropbox (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/79318431/P1050266.RW2) in case you can try it.

I just cant believe it!. You are right, I've checked my camera and it's the FZ28, not FZ38. I guess I saw the FZ38 in the compatibility list and I just thought that was it.
