IOS - 6.0.2
Device - iPhone 5
Service - ATT
I had bluetooth issues prior to upgrading to 6.0.2 where my phone would randomly not connect to my cars (Toyota Rav 4 2010 and Toyota Sienna 2012). I upgraded to 6.0.2 to see if this would resolve the issue, but it did not and if anything made it worse, because now I cannot connect at all. I have deleted the phone connections off both vehicles and tried to re-pair the iPhone, but it will not re-pair. The error message I get basically states the it was unsuccessful and to try again. It does state the pin could be incorrect, however on the Toyota Sienna I do not get prompted to enter a pin and for the Rav 4 I do enter the pin and the pin is entered correctly. At this point, I would have to say this is most definitely an issue with the Apple phone and bluetooth not working.
I too own a beats headphones wireless, and the only way you can use it is with the provided wire.
It's good when using the wire since you don't need it to be on..you can use it this way until apple
Decides to release a fix or solution. But Until then this method will suffice. If I knew in advance
That the wired solution was gonna be used, and the bluetooth was crap..I would've bought the beats executive.

These are the exact same symptoms I was having with both my car (Mazda 3) and my Jambox. Doing a full restore (1GB download and an hour to resync my music) fixed it. Tedious, but worth a go.

Just got my Beats Wireless for Christmas and was so excited to use them with my iPhone5/iOS6 devices.
Lo and behold, same issue as others, skipping music when connected via bluetooth.
I called Beats technical support and they are saying its and issue with Apple's iOS.
I argued that this is not just and issue with Apple, its an issue with the manufacturer of the Beats products as well.
I'm sure both groups are aware and are dedicating resources to fix this. However, that doesn't help or even warn us as consumers. My suggestion would be that until its fixed, both group put warnings on their websites, product boxes that the deivce and software is not guaranteed to work together.
Come on Apple. Come on Beats. Its one thing to know about the issue and be working on it which is great.
But its another thing to let consumers continue to buy these off the shelves and websites when there is a known issue.

It's nothing to do with Beats, or any other headsets or half the car manufactures in this world or my ipad it's all down to apples bluetooth on the iPhones , if you read through this site you will find its iPhones/Bluetooth that's the issue, complain to W a t c h d o g, I urge everyone to drop them an email

As a member of the frustrated masses on this forum I have attempted all of the actions and solutions given in this thread, others found on the web and talked to Apple employees. None have yielded ANY solutions for the Bluetooth connectivity problem. I have contacted Apple 4 times with no response. As a last step I found 2 potential solutions that provided me with some modest benefit and have included the links below.
In the end (after 5 months of this!!!!) I have declared this issue dead and gave my iphone 5 to my 5 year old to play Angry Birds. I bought a device from another manufacturer which worked right out of the box.
Good luck with Apple, friends.

I gave up as well, I went to my service provider. They have a trade-in program. I was able to return my iPhone and get the new LG Optimus G.
So far so good. My iPhone 5 caused my trouble with wifi connection, Bluetooth and anytime I tried to connect to any hotspot network like Starbucks.
My new LG Optimus G is working out of the box on all the wifi network, my car BT.

...even in Germany we have this issue, with all the same trouble and no results!
Yesterday I got my iPhone replaced, with out any positive changes. Even now I have trouble with wifi connection.
My bluetooth is not working with my MacBook Pro (from 2011 and latest software), my Mini Cooper, my Bose SoundLink Bluetooth Mobile Speaker II and even not with my previous iPhone 4...even this is after the software update not working anymore.
It is quite frustating, with the previous iPhone 4 was working fine and now nothing works. This is not what I expected, to go for the new iPhone and latest Software IOS 6.0.2...
...and unfortunately, with comparable mobile phones, the above mentioned devices are working fine.
I hope Apple is solving this issue ASAP!!!

I can tell you guys that as of IOS 6.1 beta 4, this issue still occurs, and very annoying to audiobook lovers. It can't just be the music app, because I have an audiobook app (that does NOT use the music app under the covers) that does the same thing. Never happens with wired headphones. I use a plantronics set, not beats.

I have the iPhone 4S and I've had the "skipping music" problem when streaming music to a bluetooth device since ios 6. I stream to three differnent devices, the Monster ClarityHD Bluetooth Wireless Speaker, the LG Tone Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Headset and my Toyota's bluetooth. I have the same problem with all three. So it's the ios6, not the bluetooth speaker.

So I'm coming to the party a little late and I've read back a few pages to catch up with recent posts. I'm using new iPad 4 with new Parrot Zik bluetooth headphones. Zik has had firmware upgrade.
These are my symptons when using the two devices:
- Some iTune songs skip others don't. And it's wierd, if a song plays fine it always plays fine, it it skips it always skips. Some of the songs that skip were purchased via iTunes others were converted from CDs.
- No issues with iTune videos or movies or rentals
- No issues with games sound
Look forward to when a "real solution" is found.

Hey wassup man! I just read your post and I have
Some info. That might help you. I have read on another
Website that the newer iPad 4 and iPhone 5 & mini uses
the new Bluetooth 4.0. While The older idevices used
Also the problem with some of your songs playing perfectly
Might have to do with its bit rate or KBPS. I think the songs
That work perfectly are 192 KBPS or lower. While the ones
That stops are probably a higher KBPS. Maybe you could
Try to convert it to a lower Kbps in iTunes. I read that the
Reason for the issues is due to high but rates. And the 4.0
cannot Transfer high signals of Kbps. So it cuts off or stops
completely. But it is definitely an issue with apples Bluetooth
and not any Of your devices. Hope this helps.
Also I am not really a tech Person. So if I have described anything
wrong, false, or incorrect. it was Not my intention. This was just a
way to explain it in an easy/laymen type post, so peeps would
Understand. Hope this helps and apple fixes this issue soon.
