Q: I purchased the iPhone 5 switched from iPhone 4S, how come if I delete a contact or add on my old iPhone it shows it on my new iPhone? How can I make it stop I'm planning on someone else using my old device

I transferred from an iPhone 4S to an iPhone 5, everything switched but it seems to be synced to my old phone. Info I delete or add a contact or music it will then do the same on my new phone. A family member will be using my old phone , how do I get it to stop syncing what I do?

Try switching the account on your 4s.

If you have everything that you need on your iPhone 5 then do this to the iphone 4.

Go to settings - general - reset - erase all contents and settings - this will wipe your phone clean.

Then you can give it to your family member for use.

I log out of iCloud and iTunes everything seems to be fine, if I would've deleted everything on iPhone 4 before doing this it would have don't the same to iPhone 5 .

Do u know why the phone would still be online? The old one that is. I can't call or text but have online, haven't activated it for family member yet?
