I am using a 2010 Macbook Air with OS X Lion and recently have been trying to get the flash video working on the CNN website, by tweaking Flash preferences in System Preferences (deleting data etc.) and disabling hardware acceleration in Flash settings. I still cannot get the CNN videos to play, but now, videos on other websites come on wiithout being asked -- for example at the New York Times site -- and cannot be stopped without quitting the page. Have uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe flash player but no joy. Any ideas? BTW, the CNN videos work OK on iPhone and iPad.
